Healing Philosophy

As a transpersonal psychologist and a shaman, I bring a holistic perspective to the art of healing. In order to see the whole human, we must expand our definition of the context in which a person exists.

During my 18 years of professional work as a healer, I have been developing a unique approach that requires a closer look into three specific areas of a person’s experience.

-1-
Trauma and family of origin issues from current life

-2-
Ancestral and cultural trauma

-3-
Trauma from past lives and incarnations

Psychotherapy

In the Psychotherapy Practice, my clients and I work on the first two areas involving early life experiences, including relational dynamics from our families and cultural trauma.

Our childhood experiences can often define the way we relate to ourselves, others, and our environments throughout the lifespan. In order to make a lasting change, we need to first understand and analyze the dynamics that have shaped our developing selves. In learning the story of our families, we also delve into the story of our cultural and ancestral bodies. In this area, my clients and I will look closely at the macro level issues of culture and colonization that have shaped our identities within a global context.

Shamanism

In the Shamanic Practice, we look at past lives and heal trauma from previous incarnations. I will guide clients through scientific evidence for past lives. Researchers such as Dr. Ian Stephenson and Dr. Jim Tucker have produced convincing evidence for humans experiencing multiple lives. I offer both single sessions as well as weekend intensives focused on past life trauma healing and integration using hypnosis and Jungian dream analysis to uncover the stories of our soul. Please contact me for details about these sessions.

The Shamanic Practice also provides a space, where I assist clients focus their energies on learning the indigenous ways of their ancestors. Ancestral healing and honoring are additional areas of engagement in my work as a shaman.
